Founded in 1898 and located on a 208 acre campus in the heart of the state of Maine, Husson University offers a quality education that integrates learning with practice.  Their focus is on preparing students for careers in a global market place. With only 3,500 students and small class sizes, they are a place where professors know their students by name and diversity is celebrated. Their five colleges offer degrees in Bachelors, Masters, PhD, and Professional majors including Business Administration, Accounting, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Chemistry, Environmental and Forensic Science, Education, Legal Studies, Health Care Management, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Audio Engineering, Video Production, Journalism, Broadcasting, Web Media, and Entertainment Production.

More than 40 clubs and organizations provide opportunities for every interest.  17 NCAA Division III athletic teams include Basketball, Soccer, Football, Lacrosse, Cross Country, Golf, and Swimming (W). Intramural sports and the well-equipped Newman Gymnasium Complex offer hours to accommodate every need.  Five minutes from campus the small, safe city of Bangor has great restaurants, shops, and theaters. Bangor International Airport is an easy ten minutes away.
